Teach it, and then use it.. very simply - It will detect and manage
differences that you cannot see with your eyes, like the fat
content in a glass of milk !
Dedicated to food, fruits and vegetables, research, pharmacy, chemistry, our Agrosta Roxanne is a colorimeter that measures along the visible range and infrared. You can use it to classify very accurately your samples (For example classify fruits by maturity, or milk fat content..)Agrosta Roxanne can detect differences that the human eye cannot see, and thus the classification of your samples is extremely fineWhile working with fruits and vegetables for example, you can record the CTIFL color charts by yourself, and then use AGROSTA®ROXANNE in order to classify your fruits according to this standard - As a distributor of Agrosta Roxanne for a specific country, you can create ans sell classification files that are specific to your country products (Bayberry or Mangosteen in China, Carambola in India etc…)ROXANNE comes with :- 1 Usb device (Works connected to a computer) with 2 tables : one for flat samples and one for spheric samples- 1 software for classifying (for windows or linux)- 1 software for measuring (for windows or linux)- A set of calssification files made in our facility : Ctifl tomato / cherry / apricot / pear / golden / strawberry- A miror for calibration

How it works :
1 st step : Classify your samplesAfter having calibrated the colorimeter with the small miror provided, We will use the classifying software in order to create a classification file Place each sample on the colorimeter head , enter the classification index, and click on « record »It’s better to record as many samples as possible, and several samples inside each categoryA classification file (Or Neural file) is created, you can use it as much as you want in the future.. You have teached the colorimeter, it associates now your samples to categories2nd step : Use the colorimeter in order to classify your samplesOpen the measurement software, load one of your classification files (previously created)Place each sample on the colorimeter head, and press “space” on your keyboard in order to measure itYou obtain accurately the category defined for each sample, as well as the color data on 9 wavelengths, including infraredYou can export the data to ExcelYou can use AGROSTA®ROXANNE as a simple spectrophotometer as well, with no classification : You will obtain very accurate values along the visible range and near infrared
Specifications :
- 10 values provided for each measurement (+ category) : 8 values for visible range (purple to red), one value in Infrared and one value of brightness- Precision : 1/1000 on each wavelength (Except 405nm : precision 2/1000) and 1/1000 on Brightness and Infrared- Resolution : 1/1000 (Except 405nm : resolution 2/1000)- Measurements can vary if ambient temperature varies : If the ambient temerature varies of more than 2°C, re-calibrate the device using the small miror provided / Measurements can vary as well as the electronic board is heating after long time of work : in this case, recalibrate / You can always check that the small miror gives a value of 1000 on each wavelength, if not recalibrate
Scientific details :
We use a neural network interpolator in order to process the data.In order to classify the samples, we search the shorter distance in a 9 dimensions space (corresponding to the 9 wavelengths)It’s quite complicate, as you can create as many classifier files as you wantWe offer this classification, the user teaches the colorimeter first, and can define an unlimited number of categories..On the picture on right side, you can see an example with 2 dimensions - As we use 9 dimensions, it cannot be represented graphically..
